ALWAYS USE THE OVERHEAD HAND RAILS WHEN MOVING AROUND THE VEHICLE FOR ANY REASON.   For your own safety and to avoid possible personal injury, please remain in your seat while the motorcoach is in operation.    Road and traffic conditions may require quick stops which can result in a fall, especially when walking to or from the wash room.   Passengers are urged to remain seated to avoid potential injury.

Prepaid reservations:   Special discounted Internet fares may apply.    Full payment is due at the time of booking.    Credit Card information is required to prepay and guarantee a seat on any Hampton Ambassador trip.    Your credit card will be charged the indicated Prepaid one-way fare at the time of booking for each seat reserved.   Changes or cancellations, when allowed, must be completed online through this web site.    Please be aware that some trip reservations are final and cannot be canceled or changed.    These trips are clearly identified.    No refunds or credits will be issued for failure to board the bus at the designated stop or time.

Changes and Cancelations:    Cancelable reservations may be canceled online at any time prior to eight(8) hours before the scheduled pick up time at the point you have selected.    Full refunds will be made for reservations canceled online prior to eight(8) hours before trip departure.    Reservations canceled within eight(8) hours of your scheduled departure time will incur a late cancellation fee.    Any charges or credits will be applied to the credit card originally used to prepay for the reservation.    Failure to cancel a reservation through the Hampton Ambassador online reservations system will result in a no-show fee in the full amount of the original charge.   No credit will be issued for no-shows.   Reservations may be changed to a later trip at any time prior to departure with no penalty or late fee.   

Pay On Board Reservations:    Full payment will be due on board the motorcoach via credit card, cash or with a prepaid ticket or Value Pack Ticket.   Please note that often pay on board fares are slightly higher than prepaid fares; sorry, no adjustments can be made.

Please note that we do not store any credit card information on our servers.

Reservations are required to guarantee a seat:

  • Reserved passengers must be at the stop at least 7 minutes before departure time in order to hold their reservation.
  • Arrival times are estimates and can vary due to weather, traffic conditions, road conditions and day of week.
  • No credit will be issued for no-shows.
  • We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to causes beyond our control.

Luggage and Freight:

  • Luggage must be checked (except carry-on).
  • $250.00 maximum luggage liability.
  • Hampton Ambassador is not responsible for lost tickets, unchecked items, carry on items and personal property.
  • Packages, freight and other items not accompanied by a passenger are subject to a $100.00 maximum liability.
  • HJ will not knowingly accept or transport any luggage or freight item with a value in excess of $1,000.00.
  • HJ is not responsible for unchecked luggage and freight.
  • Please tag all luggage and freight with name, address and phone number.
  • HJ reserves the right to inspect the contents of luggage and packages.

Wi-fi Service:

Hampton Ambassador provides free wi-fi sevices onboard our coaches.   Due to the nature of these services, no guarentee is made as to the availability or quality of service and service may not be available or may be limited.

Individual Seat Selection:

Though not required, registered users can opt to select an individual seat at the time a reservation is made for an additional fee. Only select Ambassador trips allow for individual seat selection; seat reservations may not be guaranteed under extreme or adverse conditions.


Pets are an additional $10 fee per pet and must be kept in an approved, small, enclosed carrier throughout the trip per NY State Dot regulations. If your pet carrier does not fit under seat or cannot be kept on the passenger’s lap, full fare will be charged for each seat occupied by the carrier.

Email Marketing:

  • On occasion Hampton Ambassador sends emails to customers who have used our services.
  • These emails may include new schedules, discount offers, valuable information regarding changes or interruptions in service or other marketing or promotional campaigns.
  • Hampton Ambassador never shares any personal information with any other entity.
  • If you do not wish to receive promotional emails from Hampton Ambassador, please click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of your first email. You will be removed from our contact list immediately. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience.
